What is SaveCycle?
SaveCycle helps supervisors and members manage and remember their contributions across different save cycles — efficiently and without the headache. It calculates monthly contributions automatically, eliminating human error, and sends alerts, reminders, and notifications so no payment slips through the cracks.
A save cycle is based on a well-known financial concept: ROSCAs (Rotating Savings and Credit Associations) — widely used across the Middle East, the Gulf, Asia, and North Africa. It's known as Jam'iyya (جمعية) in the Arab world, Arisan in Indonesia, Chit Fund in India, and Sandooq in Sudan.
It works simply: a group agrees to pay a fixed contribution each month to a supervisor. Each month, one member receives the full pooled amount — turn by turn — until everyone has received it once. Those who already received continue contributing until every member has had their turn, and the save cycle ends. An informal, interest-free way to save together — often called a "poor man's bank."
